About us
Our goal is to create a nonprofit community that can appreciate and enjoy as well as effectively group together during different festivals and occasions. Though there are currently about 150+ members in the Kingston Indo Group Members, including about 20 senior members and about 12 overseas family members, international students as our group is progressing rapidly and we hope for it to continue over the years. Our objectives and aims of the group are being achieved; however, we can still do much more with increased cooperation and participation by all members.
Every year the Kingston Indo Group plans to organize religious and social functions; Containing Holi, Navratri, Diwali, Christmas Activities, Summer Picnics; where adults and children can participate in flashing and intriguing activities. Throughout all the gatherings, members are made aware of the influential happenings within the group such as as Births, Engagements, Marriages, Deaths, and Visitors from abroad.
Over the years, the Kingston Indo Group has grown to encompass the whole of the Kingston region, other parts of Canada, and continues its base to other parts of the world. The group has a professional corporate structure in place with a commitee Members together with the senior members.
Kingston Indo Group is always looking for volunteers. We are encouraging members to come forward and give back to their group by volunteering and serving on the commitee members. We are actively looking for new thoughts, ideas and directions and we encourage all members, young and old, to participate in serving the Group. Your contribution will be well respected and welcomed.
